Rando was created by USTWO and is free on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. USTWO is a British App Developer that has also published an array of other apps that can be seen here.
To take a picture, you need to launch the app and tap the red bulls-eye looking button at the bottom of the screen.
You'll then be presented with a viewfinder in the shape of a circle. All pictures taken with Rando are presented in a circular fashion, which is just for aesthetics. You cannot share pictures taken with your phone's camera app through Rando at the moment, they all have to be taken within the Rando app. Below is an example of the view finder:
Once your picture is uploaded, you will be taken back to the Rando main screen. It will take a little bit of time, anywhere from 30 seconds to an hour, for Rando to deliver your photo to a random user. It may also take that amount of time for you to receive a Rando from someone else. You're not guaranteed to receive a picture from the person that received your photo, it's completely randomized.
You will receive a notification when your Rando picture is delivered. It will also tell you the location of the user that received it. You'll also receive a notification once you receive a Rando.
You'll then be presented with three options:
2.) Flag (as inappropriate)
The download option was just recently added in the latest update and is a pretty cool feature. The downloaded Rando will show up in your phone's gallery app once downloaded.
the bottom line
I suggest that you all check it out and share with the world!
